Description

Plantation Original Dark Rum is expertly designed to stand up tall in sweet mixers such as coke, ginger beer and lemonade. Rich, intense and smooth with a profound structure, it is also the ideal companion for cocktails. A blend of 1-3 year old twin column and pot still rums from West Indies Rum Distillery in Barbados and 10-15 year old pot still Jamaican rum from Long Pond Distillery. On the nose hints of black peppercorn, clove, baked cherry, prune, molasses, then forest leaves, black tea and dry stone. On the palate you will find fruit with white raisins and dried pineapple, followed by spicey, peppery, minerally notes and a definitive fruity, spicy finish.
