Description

Pierre Ferrand Ambre Cognac superbly rich, complex and smooth, crafted by the experts at Maison Ferrand for generations using Ugni-Blanc and rare Colombard grapes. The exceptional vines are found in the heart of Grande Champagne, known as the ‘golden triangle’, a highly reputed area of Cognac comprising the best terroir to grow grapes Cognac. Gold medal winner at the Cognac Masters and the Chicago Beverage Testing Institute. Ambré is perfect in a Sidecar cocktail with Ferrand Dry Curacao and fresh lemon juice. On the nose subtle, fresh notes of apple and pear appear with delicate jasmine. On the palate there is vanilla, rose, violet and lily, along with fruity notes of apple, pear, apricot and prune.

Bought this one specifically for an Improved Japanese cocktail. Flavour was lovely, would recommend.
